One Star: Having read and enjoyed "The Power of Babel", I expected better from McWhorter. But this was a lazy, sloppy, pointless, self-indulgent, piece of nothing. Somehow I find it more annoying when someone as obviously talented as this author perpetrates something as sloppy as this book.
